Unique, but comes with real risks
Possibly one of the most unique production pedals out there. It takes a bit of skill to get comfortable with, but that same quirk is what opens up new possibilities.
As for the mechanism — unfortunately, it can still be dangerous. I didn’t use it all that often over the course of a year, but whenever I did, I made sure to set it up with full care and attention. Unfortunately, it still folded on me once, and that was enough for me to stop using it at live shows.
If you’re thinking about buying one, I’d recommend looking at the cheaper model without this “revolutionary” mechanism instead

I like it a lot!
Great pedal!
I bought this after trying a Trick Pro-1V shortboard and bigfoot for a few years.
While I could definitely pull off some faster things on the Trick (especially the bigfoot with heel toe), I feel the Sonor Perfect Balance pedal is just a better pedal overal. At least for my playing styles (heel down, heel toe, continuous motion, flat foot, heel up) it serves me better and I feel more in control.
I wish they would make a Perfect Balance High Hat pedal!
