Reliable, cleaning needed
Interesting pickups combinations.
I use that for 2 humbuckers in: humb/single/far opposed singles in parallel/single/humb but many other setups are possible.
Mine works well with high output because "far opposed singles in parallel" keep enough power.
This switch is incredibly reliable, my oldest one is ~25 years old.

Awesome 5-way switch with unique positions
TLDR: Awesome switch with good wiring schematics provided by Schaller you can easily follow.
Watch out for overtightning the screws on some guitars!
--
I bought this switch to use the HH7 wiring, having 3 coil split sounds in the middle positions and full humbuckers on the outside positions. It delivers that sound perfectly.
I followed Schaller's wiring schemes from their website, and modified them to my needs. I found the notation of the color codes of the pickup wires on their website pretty confusing (and probably not accurate?), so I decided to meassure the pickups myself with a multimeter following a simple YouTube tutorial. After finding out which wires of the pickups correspond to which coils with which polarity, it was a piece of cake to color code the connections according to the wiring scheme provided by Schaller.
The switch is pretty clicky, but not super stiff as I would have liked, but it still works really well.
The gold plate contacts for soldering are really cool and makes the wiring super simple to follow and solder without issues. I also prefer the connections being oriented on the side, compared to regular switches.
The only issue I've encountered is the screws that come with the switch. WATCH OUT and don't overtighten them too much!! I managed to crack a little bit of my gloss finish on one of my guitars when I was tightening down one of the screws (I wasn't even applying too much force, just trying to get the screw flush with the body). Other than that, the installation was fine.
I can highly recommend it and I will definitely be buying more products from Schaller in the future!

NIce switch
I installed the switch because I wanted the bridge-neck pickup combination on the 3rd position (HSH style guitar) and it works very well. There is quite a few wiring options you can do with it as shown in the pictures, but check their site for a bit more detail.
The switching feels a bit soft to my liking, but then again I have to admit I am not a 5-way switch kind of guy, I can never switch to the position I want unless it's the 1st or 5th.

Increased switching options
A well built and easy to install switch that provides a range of switching options. There are a number of different models to choose from that allow for almost any combination of pickup selections.
I am already planning my next guitar upgrade and a similar switch will be on my list of purchases.

Well made and functional
Installed it to replace the middle position of my Strat with a Tele-like neck+bridge combination.
Installation was simple, switching feels clean and solid and overall it works as advertised.
