I had to return it
I got the Rode NTH-100M because I needed a headset with a mic.
I tested it directly in my two MacBook Pro 3.5mm TRRS inputs and I've tried it via USB TRRS DAC dongles.
I even tested with my own TRRS cable, but the mic was not working when plugged in the headphones. The mic worked only if I use it directly without attaching it to the Headset so I had to return this otherwise good looking and very comfortable headset.
Funny enough Rode gives a lifetime warranty on this set but not on the Mic...
I hope it works for you, but mine goes back to Thoman before the returning period is over.
