Wow. Where to start..
I have just received my brand new Rhodes Stage 61 from Thomann.
This is a very beautiful thing.
It was delivered to my house on a wooden pallet, in a very well packaged box.
I was honestly blown away when I peeked inside. This is a thing of beauty…
The keyboard action, the build quality, the look, the feel. All fantastic.
After carefully unpacking, I plugged in the audio cable to my Rupert Neve preamp.
With very little gain needed, I got a great clean signal straight to my studio speakers.
It did not disappoint in the sound department either.
Simply stunning, It sounds like a Rhodes!!
It has an large dynamic range from gentle to gnarly.
I applied a little light chorus from a Boss CE2 w pedal and sprinkled some DAW reverb and was in sonic bliss for hours.

This is not a low price instrument, but I do feel it is great investment, considering how much a second hand Rhodes can fetch. You also have a great warranty with this model.
These pianos are all hand assembled by skilled and talented people.
There are some great videos on Youtube showing their factory in Leeds, UK, where they are made.

If you are in the market for a Rhodes piano then I can thoroughly recommend the Stage 61.
You will not be disappointed.
