Pyramid Fusion Flats FF2694VI

i use flatwounds and half rounds on my guitars and basses, was hoping this would be like the halfrounds where it wouldn't tame my bass vi as much as flatwounds do, more of a punk/bitey sound but without all the finger nosie when dragging your fingers along the strings. Well if that's what you're after then keep searching, these have space between the windings, meaning they make boatloads of noise when your finger drags up or down the string, also they just don't feel nice, my search for half rounds for bass vi continues.
