The best headphone amp
This is the ultimate headphone amp. I have precisely owned the Fender Micro Mustang. This thing in on a completely different level. Considering buying one of the pedal versions now.

Most beautiful thing is before always boring sitting during training
Now with this tone X plug can walk during play (music & fitness)
With jack headphones have no latency
Audio quality pretty match like Amplitube 5 with my Ur22 usb A

Just about the best practice tool you can imagine
I use Tonex in my PC direct in my DAW as well as on my pedalboard using Tonex Pedal. This Plug allows me to get the same sounds easily in headphones (great for when the baby's asleep 😉).
The app is intuitive and full of features, the sound quality is top notch and the flexibility is pretty much unparalleled.

Simple, convenient and great sounding
I've been using the TONEX Plug for about two weeks now and, overall, I'm very satisfied with it.
What I like most is how simple it is: it really is plug-and-play. You don't need a guitar cable or a power supply. Just plug it directly into your guitar's jack, connect your headphones and start playing. I mainly use it at home for jamming, and for this purpose it's incredibly convenient.
The sound quality is also excellent. The presets are very convincing and, in my opinion, very faithful to real amplifiers. The 30 presets are divided into clean, crunch and hi-gain, so there is a good variety of sounds to choose from.
One very important thing: use good-quality headphones! I initially used a pair of AKG K530 headphones and the result was excellent. Then I tried some cheap Sony in-ear headphones costing around €10, and the sound was terrible. The difference is really huge.
The TONEX Plug can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth using the TONEX app, which allows you to adjust parameters such as bass, mid, treble, volume and gain. However, keep in mind that the gain control in the app is not the same as the preamp gain control on an amplifier.
The only real downside, in my opinion, is the battery life. Without Bluetooth, I get around 4-5 hours, while with Bluetooth enabled I managed to get only about half an hour. Considering the size of the device and its battery capacity, I wasn't expecting miracles, so I don't consider this a major issue. Also, you can switch between presets directly using the buttons on the device, without having to use your smartphone.
The package also includes AmpliTube 5 SE, but personally I wasn't impressed with its sounds. I find them rather artificial, plastic-sounding and digital. I used AmpliTube 2 for many years and, as far as sound quality is concerned, I haven't noticed any particularly significant improvement, apart from the graphics.
Overall, I would recommend the TONEX Plug especially to people who travel, those who can't or don't want to carry an amplifier and pedalboard around, or simply anyone who wants to pick up their guitar and start playing immediately, without cables and without hassle.
For this kind of use, it's really hard to ask for anything more convenient.

Great product but battery life not up to scratch.
If the battery lasted 6 plus hours this would be gig ready. The Ai seems to sense the tones on the backing track and emulates them .Outstanding tones but for the battery life.
