It works but on one 1 side of the gauges there are sharp edges from when it was press cut in production. You need to put some sandpaper on that hence the 2 stars for finish

Exactly as advertised

Its accurate to the best of my knowledge...my knowledge being based on availability of other tools and fretboards at my immediate disposal, and the choices available due to the dual set (7.25 - 20). It is smooth and even across its width.
My only issue which I realise now post the purchase is that i should have opted for the understring version for a little more cost. Anybody who wants to make their fretboards regular will be anal enough to want proper string radius too. This version, although doable, cannot help in accurately setting the height of the wound strings. Particularly more true if you are into heavier bottom string gauges.

A must have to setup the bridge properly. Made me able to do a "proper" setup even though I barely have any idea what im doing.

Basic yet useful

These are useful tools for those who need to determine the radius of their guitar neck and for related luthier tasks (e.g. making a new nut or gauging the radius of the bridge). I think the gauges are quite precise, although their material is a bit thin. But given the price, there is hardly a reason not to buy one.
