The second strings goes out of tune very often, I'm hoping with the time the string sets, otherwise it would be a problem.

Great gift
I don't have any experience with ukuleles at any price range (I come from a guitarist point of view with no prior ukulele experience). I bought this as a first instrument for a family member and while their motivation has swiftly deteriorated, I think this is a great instrument for 30-40€. It sounds "larger" than I thought it would and the fingerboard is quite nice. While the frets are not spectacular they are not sharp. The tuning stability is slightly questionable, and there is a very stubborn glue stub on the back, but for the price I don't think these are very meaningful gripes, certainly not meaningful enough to a complete beginner who is trying to grasp an instrument for the first time.
