Fantastic parlor.
I'm a luthier building classical and classical jazz guitars. So I know quality when I see it. This HB parlor is one of the best parlors I've seen and played in a very long time. It put's Recording King and even Gibson to shame.
The contrustion is super, the internal bracing is not only scalloped but also nicely sanded, something that a lot of brands do not do to this level.
The top is fantastic, thin enough for good vibes and nice resonance. The finishing is from another planet. Absolutely spotless and gorgeous. I own many instruments but few as well build as this one. It is on Eastman level. The inlays are well done.
The only thing I would (and will) improve are the tuners. They work good but look and probably are rather cheap, which is a shame for instrument of this quality.
The amplified sound is typical under saddle piëzo, not my favourite as I prefer transducers like K&K for amping out. But it does the job and the preamp is good (and has a phase switch and tuner).
