Works smoothly.
Solderless design is fantastic, it was easy to install and I wish more manufacturers went for this type of wiring. Can't fault the quality.
Two quibbles: one, I had to buy the 3 position toggle switch with this, which was another 30 euros, bringing the total to 75. It's not crazy money for the quality but I can't help feeling like the switch should've been bundled with the kit for a bit less or something.
Second quibble, the wire for the battery pack specifically is pretty short, especially as it needs to be attached in two places. I was fixing up an old S type guitar and wanted to house the battery in the back, next to the blocked up trem but there wasn't nearly enough length. Not the end of the world but could've been a tad longer!

Quick, stress free, pickup installation
I wanted to reinstall the original EMG pickups into my EC-1000, but had lost most of the electronic components. Decided to pickup a new solderless kit which I think is a little overpriced, but worth the extra euros unless you enjoy soldering everything from scratch.
It's super easy, the most complicated part was connecting the switch, which took a couple of minutes using the screw-in terminals.
Overall, took me about 40 minutes to reinstall the EMGs. I initially managed to wire the switch upside down, which was fixed in 10 seconds by swapping the pickup connectors in the junction box.
Definitely recommended if you're looking to install EMGs and haven't bought them new (as they come with this kit).

Is the an alternative for EMG pick-ups ?
Solderless pickups are amazing and every pickup whould be like that! This kit is for people who buy EMG pickups second hand and need the rest of the hardware to install them. This kit is not cheap and adding the price to the cost of the pickups the result gets close to the price of a new set of EMG pickups that have this kit included.
However I am not aware of any cheaper alternative and these are the parts originally intended for use with EMG, and are pretty easy to install and a time and money save for people with no soldering tools or skills. The cables feel like quality cables and there are zero problems connecting them to pots and pickups.
Wish the kit was cheaper but the quality is there.

Great wiring option
Great set, particularly in resolving grounding issues on. JS30. Getting the neck pickup wire in was problematic and needed a much larger hole drilled.
Purchased for a SD Mick Thompson set and worked a charm.
Would personally prefer more flexibility in a neck pickup wire, and a switch to be included for a full re-wire

Easy pickup installation
The installation can be a bit tricky at first but you can make as many mistakes as you want before you get it right as everything plugs together simply. I bought this not realising I also had to buy the solderless 3 way switch, so bear this in mind before you buy. Another thing to note is that they don't make a solderless Gibson style toggle switch, only blade switches.
