Idk what norm is but seems good
build quality good, it instantly made me mix way better than my hifi headphones, its loud and dosent lose wuality eith volume, sound is a bit harsh too ears, and i didnt even test max volume, i think you could go deaf lol, one complain is that it has constant white noise, even from further away, especially if you set gain too 0 db or more, ive set just bellow 0db, it lowered the noise a tiny bit, its not annoying noise at least so too say, but its there, what ive read everywhere it says its normal with these "budget" monitors, they look cool, and lastly ive seen many say this and id say same, they should make the onobs by steps cause its hard too set exact same volume on both monitors

Crystal clear, not the bassiest
I bought these for a home studio set up. They arrived quickly, and were packed well. Easy to install and set up. They don't have a TRS input, so make sure you have a suitable cable.
The sound is crystal clear and very impressive. Its amazing. The only complaint is they do not have the strongest bass, but sounds fantastic and more than adequate when at enjoyable levels.
There are no features other than basic adjustments at the back of the monitor. I don't miss any further adjustment though.
I am very satisfied with this.

Good sound, bass over mids and highs
Bass heavier but overall balanced. Pristine sound. However a little hiss when in idle.

Satisfied
All things considered, these are excellent small-space monitors with a cozy sound that hugs you as you listen. Their sensitivity to humidity bothers me, but it is not a big deal because I purchased a dehumidifier for my studio. Nice choice also for vinyl players

Classic quality
Sound quality is great with a solid output in both lows and highs, while the looks maintain the classic Adam touch.

only if you like to hear compositions details at the expense of level of bass
I considered several different monitor pairs and my top two candidates were: KRK Rokit and Adam T5V. Settled on choosing them.
In terms of listening music I mostly have no questions, sometimes I feel lack of bass, but I used to this. Sometimes having less bass gives you another perception of the scene.
In terms of watching movies and twitch - well, I would rather change my mind and go with KRK Rokit.
Anyway, 4.5 out of 5, wonderful well-built monitors

Don't expect a miracle
I have a suspicion that these are ordinary HI-Fi. Just with a flashy brand. Bass, even rocky ones, can be heard badly. Well, ADAM

Not Very Loud
I'm taking off a star for the lack of volume. Other than that, these are pretty decent speakers. They'd probably work just fine if I had them mounted closer to my ears and never needed to turn on my microphone. I selected these because the reviews for the T7s indicated they're too loud. I really wish I had gone for those instead.

Great sound quality albeit with a nasty buzz
When I first got this item I was very dissapointed to hear a loud buzz that sounded like ground loop noise through the speakers. It was audible even when audio was being played back. Originally I thought it was a grounding issue with my appartment, but then the same issue appeared at my next appartment. Coincidence? Maybe. I was able to fix this problem by disconnecting the grounding (taping over the ground connection at their plug.) I know it's not safe but it was the only way around this.
