A powerful classic
The Tour Hazer II-S is a well-established classic that has secured a permanent place on stages around the world, thanks to its reliable performance and practical design. Made from high-quality materials, its pump can operate in almost any position, while the adjustable air deflector allows the haze output to be directed as required. Alongside a fine haze, the unit can also produce a softer, mist-like effect, supported by a powerful haze generator with an impressively short warm-up time. A generously sized tank for its class ensures that long operating periods are no problem, while the durable construction and flexible live features make it well suited to demanding use. Compared with the more expensive Tour Hazer II, which comes in the Amptown case with a handle, and the Tour Hazer II-SF Black, the Tour Hazer II-S comes in a case with a smooth finish.

Pro features for pro-level haze
The Tour Hazer II-S combines a 1500W power output with a five-litre tank for the water-based fluid specially developed by Smoke Factory for this unit. Its efficient atomiser requires no additional cleaning cycles apart from an automatic self-cleaning process before switch-off, allowing a single tank to produce a fine haze continuously for up to 3.5 days at 40% power, for example. All important controls and connections are conveniently positioned on the front panel, while the removable tank and adjustable perforated grille make handling straightforward, with the grille offering five positions up to an angle of 45°. The unit also features a power connection, a three-pin XLR analogue input, and five-pin DMX inputs and outputs, with the fluid pump and fan controlled via two channels. The menu buttons and a small display in turn provide an alternative means of operation.

The Smoke Factory Tour Hazer II-S is designed to operate reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from 5°C to 45°C. When filled with the appropriate Smoke Factory Tour Hazer Fluid 5L, the pump setting and fan speed can be adjusted to produce either a fine haze or a denser, mist-like vapour. This makes light beams from moving heads and spotlights clearly visible in the air, while also providing an effective way to enhance gobo projections. On very large stages, several hazers can be connected in a DMX chain and assigned the same start address, allowing them to operate in sync and create consistent large-scale effects.
