I have had the first and second generation cajon pedals and both had a hard time with me and served very well, my second generation pedal was a big improvement in terms of speed of travel and easy transportation but the cable fixing became a very annoying issue letting me down mid performance. This new version ticks boxes for neat transportation but also a big plus with solid drive mechanism and no chain's to break down, woks well in rehearsal looking forward to seeing it in action at a live gig!!

A fantastic addition to my cajon setup
The Schlagwerk CAP200 has completely changed the way I play my cajon. Being able to play the bass with my foot while keeping both hands free opens up many more rhythmic possibilities and makes the cajon feel much closer to a compact drum kit.
The pedal feels solid, responsive and very natural once properly adjusted. The cable mechanism works smoothly, and I really appreciate being able to position the pedal comfortably without being restricted to having it directly next to the cajon.
I use it with my Schlagwerk cajon, together with additional percussion elements, and it has become an essential part of my setup. It allows me to create much fuller grooves while still keeping everything compact and acoustic.
The construction quality is excellent, as I have come to expect from Schlagwerk. If you are a cajon player looking to expand your setup and add a real kick-drum feel, I highly recommend the CAP200.

Broke on first kick
the whole thing broke on the first kick at at a gig. wire snapped. useless
