Great bass, fret ends were a little disappointing
I expected a little better after hearing pretty much nothing but good things about Sandberg. Granted, this is one of their cheapest model but even so, I'd expect them to get the fret ends right. They're not terrible, the bass is very nice and playable but again, I expected better. If Sire can do it, so can Sandberg.
Came near perfectly in tune out of the box, needed a slight setup adjustment but that doesn't bother me since I'm setting it to drop B anyway so a setup is expected after that.

It's a budget Sandberg...
Awesome bass for Sandberg fans on a budget, but add your local luthiers' fret rounding/filing charge to the cost and don't expect being able to play before it comes back.
Some small build quality issues but nothing major for the price( besides those frets...). Sounds, looks and plays great(Uhhm, after...you get it). Pickups very hot but sound good. Preamp is kinda weird and is only neutral when all the way CCW (Also where passive volume is and yes Vol is PP) , center is apparently boost and beyond is boost MOAR.
I wanted a budget spare Sandberg with zero fret and MM-J pickups. Definitely works and at this price I'll definitely get another if something happened to it.
