Sadowsky Silver Label Bass String 0.40

The strings are disappointing on a number of levels - first the quality of the strings itself, they feels somehow sticky and unrefined under the fingers. Secondly, I find the finish near the tuning pegs very bad - it looks and feels cheap with the material coating having almost the same color as the string itself. Sound is just okay, has that new string zing, but nothing special really.

Overall they are very close to Warwick's Red Label in terms of feel, but quite a bit pricier. Better go with D'Addario or Fender strings.

I really have no complaints about this, really decent sound and feel. great quality for this price. these strings really brought my bass back to life!
The strings have now been on my bass for one month and they have still got that nice new string sizzle!
