Tallest windup stand around
Had need of a heavy lift stand which could shine a light in a second floor window. There are a couple of choices from Avenger and the Strato Safe range is the only one practical for a lot of needs (the Long John Silvers are great but price and the requirement to keep them vertical at all times is a big problem). The B150 is slightly higher than the Long John Silver stand, and often every inch counts when you're trying to get a light at the right angle for a second floor window.
Build quality is top notch as you would expect from Avenger. It's a very heavy beast, but that is to be expected when you're dealing with this sort of equipment. This isn't a common use stand - it is very specifically for filming requirements where you have people around to assist moving it.
Thomann was excellent on price. Only slight disappointment was that Thomann only supply the standard hard wheel version. The rubber wheels are often more useful as they roll better.
